”she died, i was saved”. She’s really dead? It was only a few pages ago that we were introduced to her. This book is really putting into perspective the world that some people live in. Also, the fact that Yozo only needed the realisation that he is poor for him to follow through with suicide is beyond depressing.
I really don’t know how I feel about this book.

I’m not sure how I feel about this book so far. On one hand I think it’s good and I find it interesting how we delve into the main characters view on the world around them, but I also think it’s kind of depressing and I’m not sure how I feel about that. Right now I’m hoping it gets a little lighter.
