The story about Shirley Chisholm & how a (male) congressman would SPIT (!!) in his handkerchief every time she walked by, so she bought a handkerchief and when he did it she stood in front of him and spit in her handkerchief 🤣🤣🤣 ICONIC. I really love this audio book and all the different stories.

Im loving listening to this audiobook. It’s a bunch of oral stories from women through the 60s-70s and their experiences with accessing healthcare and the violent experiences of back ally abortions, their experiences with work like not being able to be a flight attendant after you marry, and Bobbi Gibb’s experience running the Boston marathon.
