Not going to lie, I didn’t really like this at first. The first few chapters were iffy. It really bothered me that Reese didn’t call her parents mom or dad but by their first names. It was confusing at first trying to piece everyone together.

But it’s growing on me and I can’t wait to see what happens next!! My first Mary Kubica book… 🤨
