Just finished chapter 7 and a little annoyed with the romance plot. It’s evident that she had feelings, but why all of a sudden Joe wants to “do more”??? There hasn’t been any indication that he reciprocated Rose’s feelings. I’m glad it didn’t progress yet beyond a kiss and cuddling, but I may stop reading if it does.

Wooooo I’m loving this book so far. This is one of the few times I’m genuinely interested in the B plot romance of the story. Her family reminds me of annoying old women, sitting in their porch all day and chattering about everyone. I’m invested and want to see how this murder mystery plays out.
