Evil Genius is out in the world now! And I want to go on record to say this story takes place in 2026, not 1974. It happened long ago. Celia is old. She gets the facts wrong now and then. Some of her mistakes are easy to spot and some are more like easter eggs. My favorite thing she gets wrong, probably, is the name of her lawyer, Mr. Petrocelli. If you can guess why, leave a comment here behind a spoiler tag!

Jenna (semi-hiatus, out touching grass 🤌🌱…!) You’re right, good correction - I fixed my review so this is more clear. I just got so caught up in Celia’s story! But I do really like that it’s told in retrospect, with all that entails.

♑︎♑︎♑︎ ♑︎♑︎♑︎ Jenna! I love how much you connected with this story! I just felt like posting that there are deliberate anachronisms and obviously misremembered memories that couldn’t have happened the way Celia remembers them. I seem to enjoy this kind of “unreliable narrator” … someone who isn’t necessarily purposely deceitful, but memory can be a tricky thing.
