I impulse bought this I know it’s a series but the first one is sitting on my bookshelf curious to know how it is

I also impulse bought this. I really want to like this, but I’m having trouble. I love that it’s LGBT, but the plot is kinda boring and I’m forcing myself to finish. I’m hoping it picks up though.
