Girl dinner is finally being served.

Every time I think this book is about to arrive at a hook or a point or an event of actual interest, it sidesteps the whole thing and I’m back to dissociating at words on a page.

Dare I say, we may be finally arriving at The Point, The Hook, the thing that makes this less boring.
