Critique for 197: Kaczynski suggests that modern man individually or in a small group, has far less power than primitive man, especially when going up against the system. However, it seems me that when modern man organizes in protest (BLM, OSAP, #Metoo), it seems to get the attention of the system and facilitate some kind of change - this is to say, modern man does have power when he organizes in protest.

Article 119: "The system does not and cannot exist to satisfy human needs. Instead, it is human behavior that has to be modified to fit the needs of the system"

Why is he kinda...cooking?

Great point on article 30, stating how leftists may justify violence in their pursuit of moral high ground, when in reality, this might be an excuse to physically exert themselves in a way they never have before.

Great point on conservatism on article 50. In pursuit of traditional values, the conservative fails to see how the faster-paced system they advocate for go against their values.

Raphael Attalin I see what you are coming from, however, after reading section 197, I cannot say that I disagree with his statement. While protest and social movements have produced some degree of change in some sectors, it is nonetheless within the frame of the system. For insance, many protests such a OSAP and the BLM movement only exist since they were permitted by law. While the ruling class may give in to such protest, it is only to assur their survival and the one of the systeme. Wheras social movements who seek to truly change the structure of he system are often brutally repressed. One must simply look towards at the numerous instances of imperialism and foreign interference in the gobal south by the likes of western states. The ruling class loves to make the population feel as if their advocacy plays a prominent role in the direction of democracy as long as our so called civil disobediance stays within the gardrails that they have set up. In the dame time, such must be taken with a pinch of salt since ted did bomb a few people🥀😭✌️

NiKoLa Padlock What a great point! I definitely see what you mean, especially the point that protest is only permitted under the guardrails of the ruling class, and as soon as that is not the case, the system cracks down on the modern individuals of society. To add to my previous point raph, I made a side comment to my original critique which went something like this: But perhaps maybe Kaczynski's critique is that the changes these protests facilitate are often too short term (as in unfortunately, even after BLM, Metoo, and lgbtq marches, there is still the presence of racism, homophobia, and misogyny, etc) or that often the main goal of the protests may get
more blurred as time goes on.

As for the point of Ted, I do not plan on sending bombs to people anytime soon. Ted is definitely a...rebel to say the least...
