I've read all the 39 Clues books, but after Vespers Rising, I didn't pick up the next one. I had my fair share of fun adventures with Dan and Amy. I learned about their ancestors' backstory, but that's it. I have to stop there so I won't spoil the best part. It's a bit of a cliffhanger at the end, but it's okay—I just made up my own ending. 😅 I can't comment on the "so on" series. I was only interested in this series because my favorite author is one of the writers—none other than Rick Riordan. So.. Yes, the 1st 11 books are not a waste of my time.
