I’m not really liking the FMC so far. Very judgmental, entitled and outright spoiled. I’m hoping to see growth as things progress.
The MMC is unnecessarily complicated. I can see how readers see him as a low budget Ezra. Maybe he’s still finding his footing in that world.

Sooo. Is she mad that he actually has money and did not readily disclose? Or is she upset thy her presumptions were not correct?

I really want to like the FMC but her snooty attitude is a turn off.
I’m all for like what you like and go after what you want. Nothing wrong with hr wanting a man that equally yolked financially. It’s the way she talks down on “laborers” as if they are beneath her. She does not have to want them to not talk down or respect them.
