Loving the atmosphere. I had wanted to read Drive Your Plow… beforehand, but I actually think this is a good place to start with Tokarczuk. The setting in the remote mountains of southwestern Poland is fabulously uncanny, and the mix of fairy tale and horror elements is so satisfying on the page.
