For the first time since Intern I didn’t enjoy r Robin Cook book. As in my first comment, the language is so stilted that it’s distracting. For what it’s worth Laurie seems to be turning a little unlikable with age.

I’m about halfway through and, though I’m an avid Robin Cook fan, this one isn’t quite landing as his others have. The dialogue is coming across as stilted and unnatural. I understand that he likes to inform through his books, but in this case it feels a bit forced.
