Feeling lost and confused by this book, I sought out a guide to reading it on YouTube. Sure enough, George Saunders himself has made a video about it — seemingly as a response to the many people who have told him they gave up at around page 30.

So, I watched the video and decided to start again this time listening to the audio book (with its cast of 160!) as a means of following it more easily.
