I loved each short story. Excellent writing with a quick pace. They each had their own little moral and we’re so engaging and drew you in.

The personality of a man always poses the biggest obstacle to his own education, thought Charlie. He’s either too proud, too stubborn, or too timid to submit to the process of discovery… Thus, we are doomed to end our days in an ignorance largely of our own making.

Goodreads isn’t posting what I write but I’ve loved them all!! Great writing, concise yet well rounded story and characters.

Timothy Touchett, Hasta Luego, I Will Survive- all excellent. You get a full fleshed-out story that is still short and concise. The characters come to life, there is humor, and some thought provoking concepts.

The Ballad of Timothy Touchett… so well written. Great flow and quite short, but a full story perfectly wrapped up.
“Oh, Timothy.
At long last, here comes your experience.“

I got this because it expands on the Rules of Civility. Seven short storied and I believe only one is related to The Rules.
I loved the writing and humor of The Line. Pushkin thrived being himself and his disposition makes you wonder how he ended up with Irina. I’m left with the feeling he’ll be ok in New York.
