I was widowed at 34. I have had a front row seat to the grief Olympics. This spans all areas of grief from spousal loss, to child loss, to parent loss to pet loss and more. I have also experienced emotions like anger and sadness and isolation in a way that I’ve never experienced it before. I really wish the author had taken the opportunity with the chairwoman to not fall into this trap with her storytelling
