The premise of this book always makes me think of Mythago Wood in its interest on primeval humanity and how myth takes form in our world. I don’t know if it actually does resonate along those lines, but every time I look at this one I wonder if it may be the case.

Hmmm, definitely a different vibe from Mythago. Spirituality and religion are central to it, but in a much more traditional vein.
