Through The Tunnel
Oh this was so beautiful. Jerry's emotional negligence and need of approval manifested into his obsession with the water tunnel and the boys was so so sad to read. I felt so much for him when the boys ran away.
Loved the scenery and the prose in this - definitely my favourite so far.

Odd. George is awful. I don't understand why Bobby would submit herself to a marriage with him - then again I suppose that is the point. Aging and aching and longing for some kind of youth and some kind of love.
