There must be a term for when you make less and less progress in a book simply because it is so good that you find yourself rereading older pages again and again and linger in old passages longer and longer so you never forget any part of it, and remember what great writing truly feels like. The last time I felt this was when reading "The Sense of an Ending" by Julian Barnes.
