I did not realize that this book directly led up to Ahsoka’s appearance on the mini series “Tales Of The Jedi” and when she gets her final set of lightsabers! How interesting (for those select few who may understand) that she was reunited with R2-D2 right before the Tales of the Jedi episode! No wonder why she was so invigorated and boss energy during the duel that the book is building up to right now! Excited!

I’m not sure why the reviews on this book aren’t so good, i’m thoroughly enjoying this. Yes it may be labeled as a young adult novel, but the themes are pretty heavy like imperialism themed hangings, massacres, “terrorist” bombings. Ahsoka has discovered a force sensitive child amidst a time where jedis were being actively hunted. You definitely have to be a fan of Ahsoka to read this though i would say.

I know i’ve curated quite an audience of various genres in my friends list, so i’m sorry if Star Wars isn’t your cup of tea. Nevertheless, the audiobook being voiced by Ahsokas Clone Wars tv show actress is chefs kiss. This is reading like a post Order 66 clones wars episode, that dreadful time inbetween the prequels and the main trilogy where the empire was just being getting a foothold. I’m liking it so far
