So yeah not loving this story or writing style at all but I’m forcing myself now to go on

Bastille the gamer best friend who’s a secret necromancer

Blaze the asshole who’s now fucking her

The guy with the watch she’s taken for a client

The ex whose sister died

I might be missing one
Or two

They all sound the fucking same
And I skim the details of what they look like

So I think we’ve met all the mmcs in this book but I can’t be sure
Everything has been predictable and cringe and wacky
I love one of three of those things
But this wackiness comes across as tacky and very try hard

So all I can think is
Thank god past me read this all the way through the first time
I think

Bc I skimmed most of this shit

It’s a mess like the fmc is
And is doing the most cramming everything into this book

I don’t love or like it but I’m stuck with it for the next five books

I’m thinking I can skim read those now that I’m back into this world

so i’m going into the reread mentally messed up and physically going through pms i think

not great

i’m hoping
as usual
this is better than what i thought…time and all

bc all six books are in my digital library and either way i’m about to force myself to finish a series that might be shit

i’m hoping the cousin ow drama isnt as bad as the first read
or there better be groveling and begging

what i recall is shitty writing and drama and wasted potential
