Only Stephen king can spend over an hour (audiobook) describing a woman reaching for a glass of water, and it simultaneously be painful, nerve wracking, annoying, profound, and a really solid display of character development. It’s the closest thing to an author saying “hey look, I can make watching paint dry interesting!” But for goodness sake, I hope the story picks up soon.
