How fun to hear reference to stuff I learned in another nonfiction book I read. And by fun, I mean awful bc it was a reference to artist Artemisia Gentileschi and how she was assaulted by her mentor and tortured as "testimony" and still not believed. And this is while hearing about the State of Alabama v Brittany White case. Mm love how useless the "justice" system is. For women in particular.
