i think the letting darrow use red sayings is a nice touch but im a bit unbelieving that those around him understand

somehow im just not convinced that hes earned all this change. it felt like he earned it when he was sixteen at the insitute but now that hes a man grown and 23 i somehow dont see the change. im not convinced hes earned or fought for or lost or changed

i fear i do hard disagree when darrow says a year ago he was angry and impulsive

i dislike the use of the trope where hero gets imprisoned at the end of the second book in what's set up to be a huge devastating thing and he just gets out at the start of the third as quickly as he got out of the lowred mines in the first book
