Off to a strong start with Volume 3 in the Books of Blood collection. As was the case in previous volumes, the prose is envy-inducing; it's rich, striking, and immensely colorful without devolving into purple territory. The first collected story, Son Of Celluloid, was as inventive as it was revolting. I cannot wait to see what else waits for me.
