P.J. visits Albert Dunston and there are several pages wasted as the hospital refuses to let her see him. Why? The only reason I can figure is to boost word count!
Because - why does a PSYCHOLOGIST need to visit a TRUE CRIME AUTHOR to PSYCHOLOGICALLY PROFILE SOMEONE?!?

I'm going to need a shrink after finishing this, I think! It's driving me nuts!
Every. Single. Conversation. Just goes round in round in circles. Main character P.J. is just so unrelentingly antagonistic in every dialogue exchange she has that I want to reach into the pages and throttle her! What the hell is her problem? She's coming off as such an entitled b****!
So much unnecessary padding. So much!!! Aarrgghh!!!
