Coming up on halfway, and I keep being jolted out of the story by things like:
- That's not how skeletons, archaeology, blood, or bullet holes work,
- How long does the author think a thousand years is? Why can they plug their laptops in? Why does the electric wiring use exactly the logic they're used to? Why hasn't the garden rusted straight through the hull?
I'm withholding judgement but it's getting hard.
