Finally halfway! Okay so there is a LOT of world building and relationship building here. Of course the problem that started the book has become a whole new problem. And there’s a lot of others like werewolves, witches and warlocks, vampires, demons, devils, humans, angels. It’s also urban fantasy, but a made up city. TONS of side characters. Overall it’s good so far but a little slow.

Oh my goodness this book is LONGGGGG. The ARC is actually about 1000 pages.

It has been a long time since I’ve read an urban fantasy. Probably zodiac Academy is the last one that comes to mind. They aren’t typically my favorite so we will see how this goes

I’m so nervous about this. A lot of people have said the early books are not it - but this is the ARC for the traditional release next months so I’m hoping it’s improved 🙏🏼
