There also doesn’t seem to be the sense of time that is passing from job site to job site. How long was she at Syncrude? Long Lake? Come to think of it Thanksgiving and Christmas were good points!

I find myself reading this faster than I expected. I’ve never read a graphic novel before and excited for the opportunity from my book club.
This one feels like journal entries from Beaton’s time in the oil sands. There are numerous times the scene changes and it takes me a money to realize the shift.
