D'oh! I totally f'ed up the pasting on the ending of this story. UGH. :(

Odd. It just shifted to present tense.

This is so me: "Obviously, there was no man out there who could deal with my need for space and time to myself. They claimed they could. Maybe in the beginning, they even tried..."

"It sounded so stupid when I tried to explain it to someone. I didn't feel qualified to write something that complex and detailed and imaginative... I just didn't have that spark of creative genius."

Perfect - romantic suspense is just what I wanted to read, plus this is off to a smokin' hot start.
