I'm about halfway through and I've noticed a pattern to the stories. Slow starts, distracting middles, then a clear(ish) point as the author hastens to an ending. I don't particularly mind that most stories don't have a neat ending. I am, however, no longer interested in all of the randomness that seems to be there not to enhance the story but to prevent the reader from discovering the hidden message too quickly.
