these books move slowly, so i’m hoping this picks up. i realized im liking another character, which is AMAZING. it’s one thing to pull me in by the world building, but to like a collection of characters really puts the cherry on top whenever im reading. i’m also being cautious and reading slower with this book, WHICH IS ALSO FINE.

remind me to not get on cyrus’s bad side. absolutely gagged at what he did to alizeh. but it was also funny. i love that they dislike each other and certainly don’t want to be around each other longer than five seconds. i’m also sensing that cyrus HATES his mother by not indulging in hardly any conversation with her. (i need more of his lore and his pov) 😩

such pretty world building oh my god. i’m already obsessed with tulan. and i thought the first book was amazing. though they’re kamran chapters (ugh) ITS FINE. even though i want in on cyrus’s thoughts. maybe there’s a good reason for that so im going to try and not dwell on that. either way, im still excited to read this ☺️🩷

ok i’m already devouring this and the banter. thank u. i’m so interested on how this will unfold and how alizeh and cyrus will actually work because rn… rn i don’t think they can stand each other. i need a cyrus chapter. i need to know what he’s thinking. UGHHH. i have so many questions.
