About 12 chapters into What Lies Beyond the Veil and I’m officially intrigued. The first five chapters felt a little slow while the world was being set up, but once Astria was about to be sacrificed the story really picked up. Now the tension is building and I can’t shake the feeling that her brother knows way more than he’s letting on. Excited to see where this goes next!
