Made it to part 3, and can finally say I’m fully enjoying reading this. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it up to now, but it kinda felt like I was just trusting the reviews and Dostoyevsky’s reputation that it would start heating up soon. And while plot wise, it’s not an intensely exciting book, I’ve gotten to a point where the characters are actually interesting, and I finally care about the subplots.
