In a different vein, you might want to consider “Dying Well: Peace and Possibilities at the End of Life”. In it Ira Byock, M.D., advocates for much improved end-of-life (palliative) care, which in many cases would be a better choice than MAID, when such care is available. It would be interesting to compare the two approaches.
