Jaron (Sage) is determined to find the pirates and figure out the truth about his family and what might have happened to them. I predict that Jaron will pose as a regular citizen to try to get to the pirates without anyone suspecting anything. "He frowned. 'What's your name?' 'You don't need it'" (Nielsen 108). I think he will go back to his alter ego, Sage, and fool the town of Avenia.

At this point in the book, Jaron, posing as Sage, has found an in with the pirates. He is trying to figure out a way to save his kingdom. He has to be careful, or he will most likely be killed. "'Devlin only made you a pirate because of his greed. If it was up to me, you'd never have left that jail alive'" (Nielsen 195). I predict that Sage's identity will be revealed and he will have to revise his plan.
