ooooo the angst is angsting 🙂‍↕️

guys idk if im missing something but i dont think i love this book as much as all of you do 💔

im scared this book is deeply foreboding

um? what just happened

if i was patroclus i probably would have thrown up and ran into the ocean to drown myself

big fan of how color matters a lot in this book; when achilles was around patroclus, he was always glowing like the sun, and now when he is condemned to leave his skin appears grey and marble-like, as if a statue

yall im kicking my feet already bc read this quote: “he looked different in sleep, beautiful but cold as moonlight. i found myself wishing he would wake so that i might watch the life return.”

patroclus watching achilles play the lyre with awe 😭💖 “i could not play now. not ever, if i could listen to him instead.”

starting this long anticipated book with ida!!<3 im expecting this to be life changing
