A New Model has been sitting on my shelves for over 5 years at this point. When I initially purchased, I was super interested in what Ashley had to say and I really appreciated her representation as a plus size girlie. Now in 2026, I still love the rep and the vibes she's put out in the world, but I'm not sure I care to read much more of this book. (More in comments)

This is not my favorite writing style or cadence; the book leans on a very stream of conciseness style of writing and it feels a little all over the place. Chapter two is also titled "My Vagina" and I'm not sure I care to move forward 😂 I'm going to put the book down for the night and decide tomorrow how I want to proceed.
