I'm trying again this book, but the writing is painful

I can't go on with this one... I don't get the hype about it, and I am using the audiobook, so I basically just listen while doing the chores. The writing is so painful there is hardly any plot and the romance is pretty boring

Ok, so I have tried reading this, several times I started, now I got the audiobook, it is actually worth it
