Chapter titled “the nature and extent of providence over Satan and demons” should be essential reading for every believer, if not to find agreement with what is said but to at least wrestle with the claims Piper makes.

“Since Satan is unitormly evil, we may use the words of Genesis 50:20 for every one of his acts in this world: "He meant it for evil, but God meant it for good."
