yeah those were chapters. this whole blending reality with dreams thing is pretty sick — i like this aspect of murakami’s writing. im starting to dislike toru to be honest. he seems like a bad husband & boyfriend. also not sure why he’s getting close with may considering her very young age. i have a feeling that the woman on the phone is his ex-gf
