diane’s Reviews > Abraham Lincoln, a History — Volume 02 > Status Update

Very good info on the secession crisis, stemming from that black Republican Lincoln getting the nomination in 1860. The author also gives a good synopsis on the 4 major candidates and their platforms. Might have to eventually get the rest of the history, a total of 10 books. Books 1 and 2 were freebies.
