I finished the first book Corktown. I will give it 3 stars, because it is a fast read and is entertaining. However, the characters all seem silly and unprofessional at times. I couldn't take any of them seriously. Abby Cane certainly wasn't portrayed as such an experienced investigator that she would become a top notch FBI agent, envied by everyone. She acted silly and made bad decisions that put everyone at risk.

The story is entertaining, but so juvenile. Did he do any research on the FBI? They never work alone on dangerous or important missions. You would think they had only one FBI agent in this story.
