I am desperately missing the Fourth Wing/ACOTAR series right now so I turned back to this, which is started last summer but put down. The vibe is very Hunger Games meets ACOTAR, but it is missing the hysterical Cassian/Azrial banter which I live for. So far, it's a trope-y and slow burn which is fine. As a high fantasy and mythology lover, I wish there was more world building and lore. Character dev isn't terrible.
