You'd pull up your socks, join the ranks of thinkers and sages and witches, but you tried that; you got lost some and came back to a comforting tale of olde England or someone's idea of unrequited love, or requited misery. Why not escape the daughter you know is not agoraphobic but instead a liar? Or the duty to walk in the dark, for your legs are bums now. Can escape the ugly traffic that goes nowhere and the idea that you're joining millions of complacents who watch series. I still make sure the smarty books are read though, myself. It's like a baton race and I'm glad they handed these to me. I won't tell anyone how smart I've become, or they'll wonder why I haven't let go of life yet.
