I liiiiiike it. At first I thought it was just a book about the elite in NY and I was a bit tired of reading about proveligued problems in old times (no hate austen i love u but sometimes need to read some ”real” stuff). It was hard to follow characters etc and language is not easy but I notice Iunderstand much more than I would’ve two years ago, and all these books use so similiqr vocab im familiar with now

Continuing… protagonist is male, thats refreshing, and I like him. It feels like he switches personally very fast from the beginning tho. I understand his mixed feelings and opinions and confusion, in first half u ofc understand he loves olenska but still its not 100% cuz he never states ot, we just guess it based on his emotions and impulses until the confession. I love may hope no one does her dirty. Thought I..
