This book is NOT for me. So hard to read, as I don’t identify with many of her experiences or classifications of what autism is like. Just so wordy too- big words that make me think too much and also have me just not caring after a while to think about wtf she means… so I just skim and don’t take it in. Committed to finishing this bc Kate loaned it, but it’s been a slog.

I just can’t relate to this author’s experience of autism. It’s wildly different than mine.

I actually am having a hard time understanding/getting into this book. Something about the way the author speaks and writes is confusing/overly complicated to me… I just can’t get into it. I’m gonna keep pressing on, 5 pages at a time, but I may have to not finish this one. And that’s ok.
