It’s weird knowing I’ve technically got like 100+ pgs left but just haven’t had any desire to pick this back up. It’s tough bc at this point I feel like I’ve DNF’d but also I’m like… “I’m so close to the end; I should just finish!” I really did love the story in the beginning but I think I got bored somewhere along the way. I will say, this series is fantastic for someone new to romantasy….

I’m intent on finding out how this all shakes out but damn can I just *not* get into it. I’m so sad, bc I was having fun with this series but somehow I just CANNOT connect with these characters anymore 🙁

I have been getting thru this slowly. I want to finish but I’ve realized I’m honestly not invested anymore. It’s a good story, maybe I just read too much of this genre?
