Goodness! What a cautionary tale for parents too. We don't want to be a Mr. and Mrs. Salt!

This story IS dark. As a mom, the idea of this happening for real is horrifying. But when I think of this as a fairytale or cautionary tale in the classic style, I laugh. It is done so well.

The reviews show how much people don't read Fairytales anymore. They're taking this book too realistically and seriously.

The Oompa Loompas are so cool. This is such a fun book.

I love this story. It is so like a fairytale. And I think I like it more as an adult than I did as a kid.

This really does feel like reading a fairytale. These kids disgust me even more now that I'm a parent. Their parents are horrendous.
