Dante goes around like “hey yall im from FLORENCE. anyone around here from FLORENCE? i only wanna talk to other people from FLORENCE. you said you’re from Siena? that city of FUCKWITS? you absolute LOSER” mind u in canto 26 he was like “why are there so many people from FLORENCE in hell. SHAME on my city” mans is never satisfied 😭
