I would die for Rocky. Grace is such a nerd, I love him. Ryan Gosling might genuinely be the best choice in casting for him. Even better is Sandra Hüller for Stratt, just reading off the page I can see Sandra fall into Stratt’s mannerisms.

Getting surprisingly emotional anytime Grace randomly tears up about his crewmates. They’re gone, and so are his concrete memories of them, but the connection they made in a short time clearly remains in some way subconsciously.

Really enjoying this so far. Getting emotional over Grace’s valuing of human life and the future of humanity. I should probably hate this book’s quippy humor but it’s mostly been working for me.
